Hi everyone!
I came up to post some quick sketches which are made in dryink pencil/ballpoint pen... Err... these sketches have made in car. We were going to the summer cottage last last weekend. These sketches are quite quick ones but I wanted to post them. Just for fun.
Feedback is welcome, too. Thanks. What do you think about these?
Hehe... *grin* |

Hey dude, I kinda like what I saw, although that was only half of them because they were taking ages to download, I am doing loads of sketches like this at the moment, it helps to develop your skillz I think, I also like drawing with a biro. Have you compressed them, they seemed to take ages. Keep up the good work though and keep drawing. See ya around. |

Hi, Psionic!
You were the first real man who replied! Thanks. Lots better feeling now! Nice that you liked. Hmm... I compressed those sketches ... pretty much... but they are really huge allthough. That's bad, I guess. Yeah.. when I wrote about times on sketches I thought that they are really quick ones though it doesn't look like it.
Any more replies? |

Thanks again...
Okay! I know that it's easier to draw something when you have model or reference. Only few of this have drawn from reference. We had some kind of quiz in car. At first someone drew something and then the others tried to quess the figure/man.. Hehee... Anyway, thanks for you and Fred! Hear ya!

I like what you have here, I can see alot of things happening. If you really like this stuff, I might suggest:
using black ink, blue or purple is too light and your darks will seem to glow instead of add depth if you use blue or purple.
Try cross hatching the lines, use that method to build up your tones and see what results you get. This stuff is great for quick studies, but be careful not to over work areas. Keep at it and you will have a very usefull tool for quick studies.
I realize this stuff was just for fun, but you may want to try some of the things I suggested, it could lead to bigger and better things....

Hi samdragon!
Thanks a lot coz of comments. Hmm.. I usually use ink and black pens in drawing things like that. I can post some of those nowadays. I really love to do quick sketches in ink because you have to be careful not to overwork things... thanks again. I'll work woth your suggestions.
