Hi everyone,
This is my first post on this board...
I bought my graphire about a week ago and this is what I got so far (I've never been much into traditional art either so don't laugh when you see it ).
Tell me what you think!

Hi! Err... not so bad.. still there are lots of fixable details on it. Heh. Yuo should try to get more dimension on it. I think that nearest site of pic is too smooth and too much light on it. Try to get more clear lines and shades. I've to say I don't understand all on your picture. It's pretty traditonal start at all, I guess. Keep practising. |

Welcome to the forum! Not too bad for a first try, but I think the best way to learn if, like me, you can't draw traditionally, would be to first try to draw stuff "just to learn". Pick some images painted by other people and try to reproduce them at the best of your ability. I would suggest using Photoshop for that, too, btw...
Another useful thing is to try to sketch figures on paper. Find whichever method works for you to draw people in proportion, and keep drawing them in every imaginable position. A full height mirror is useful for that, so you can see what someone in that position would look like. It's good practice.
Anyway, good luck :-)
