Remember the "post your pics" thread?
Well, how about post your selfprtraits?
Maybe we could make some rules of how it could be executed, like you have to draw from life(a mirror)or something.
I think it could be a fun excercise of drawing heads, improving proportions, shadows and realism, techniques and you name it.
It also could be a nice follow-up to Freds
"how to draw heads-thread" wich maybe should be read through again before starting.
If people think this could be fun we could start right away.
Comments?

Let's just take the time we need to do it.
I don't have time right now either.
I think this could be really fun.

Hey I got a head start. (no pun intended) I sketched this last week. Although, it just sorta kinda looks like me. I'll do a new one and post it too. Can't get enough of Chapel.

Good idea, Micke. I'll give it a shot. In fact, I was going to by a mirror for my office this weekend.

Be neat to see Spooge's mug. From what I hear, he's 9 feet tall and only sleeps one hour a night.

About an hour, with a mouse, in Photo-Paint, from a little 1"x1" mirror glued on my Viewsonic.

Sadly, I have no mirror available (They're all attached to walls in different rooms), so I'll have to take a photo. Sorry. I'll get back to you on this later.

So many posted allready..
I had in mind that everybody used a mirror and did it from scratch trying to be as realistic as possible without any fancy tricks or adding something and draw exacly what they see, but if people want to try another approach that's ok with me. Keep 'em comming!

It's a regular gallery of Rembrandts here!

Here's a recent one of mine. Lots of lines in this one:

Here's another one . . . I scribbled this on the whiteboard in an mplayer.com chat room. Now that I think about it, by putting it in the lower right corner, I probably hid it from everyone that wasn't running at least 1600x1200 pixels . . . oops.

Hardly fine art, but I thought the medium was interesting.

Oh, the gesture got added when some sixteen year old hoe started trying to erase my head

Just doodling, did a quicky of my eye. One electric lamp in the room makes for ugly colors.
