Hi, this is my first question to you guys even though I've been reading this forum for some time. I'm amazed by how you guys are able to make your art look so realistic using photoshop. My computer art class has just got started, and I'm having a hard time making the same kind of textures that I do on canvas. For instance I'm trying to give a leather look to this jacket my character has, but it looks like a bland piece of poo. If you could give any help on this subject it would be greatly appreciated. Also how do you get metal to look like metal. By the way we are using mice instead of a digital pen which is beginning to piss me off.
