I've been rotoscoping lightsabers lately and here's the method I found after searching the internet...
1. Create a new layer over image.
2. Choose your line tool.(you will need to adjust the width in order to make the blade as fat or thin as you see it fit)
3. Choose white for your color.
4. Go to Layer->Effects->Outer Glow
5. Choose your lightsaber color to the right of "Mode:"
6. Adjust intensity, blur, and the other settings until you get the desired look.
Hope you can understand what I wrote...
