i really like your portrait so far, the thing that gets me tho is the jacket is a little to red, and takes away from your face.

on the face, it seems a little unaligned such as your lips in line with your nose and the eyes not being at the same level.

i see you used alot of dodge and burn tools, i think it would really help improve your skills if you could try working without these and trying using different values and tones to get shadows and dark area's rather than use the dodge and burn tool set to highlights (i would use those at the end for small details maybe)

anyhow i hope this helps, i dont mean to come off negative for your first attempt thats really well done
