Here:

I started with a very small sketch on paper, scanned it and tried to draw some colors under the sketch. I also tried to do some hair (i'm a beginner )

I don't know how to go on with it and if there's something wrong with the face...?

so long, mumpizz

i think its a good start, but what stands out to me is her chin and lips area..looks a bit on the thick side..id maybe trim that down a bit. is it from a photo or your head? if you have this book: Human Anatomy for Artists : The Elements of Form
by Eliot Goldfinger, it is a great reference book..as well as any Andrew Loomis book you can get your hands on

I agree with worthy, her face is a bit thick. If you search the board for Fred's head drawing tutorial that might help a bit in the construction of heads. The hair seems to be coming along well, just keep refining.

If you want to keep going with this pic you might have to either smudge the line drawing in with the colours (aka dhab style) or just get rid of the sketch layer and keep working with the colours alone.

Hey, I know that lady! It's Janet Reno in her little-known role as Gollum!

Who's that?
I saw that face in a magazine and thought "ah, let's draw a human face"

It's actually a pretty decent job. The human head is one of the most difficult things to draw because we see them all the time, and people can tell if it's not quite right even if they can't pinpoint the problem.

Here's that thread someone else mentioned... http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002577.html

And I would also recommend getting any Loomis books you can find. Look at Bud Plant's store, http://www.budplant.com . There's one called "Figures In Action" that's still in print.

Personally, I wouldn't work on this one any more. I would just take what you've learned here and start another, and then another, and then another. Just keep going with it.
