Alright its another first post... Love the forum, a lot of talented people here. Anyway, I have been working on a picture and need some help/direction. I really want to get away from the sketch and heavy lines and move more to using value/color to describe the form, but so far i've just made a mess. Can someone do a quick repaint or maybe give some suggestions to help me make the transition. heres the pic

I think it is a really good start. I think the sketch is fairly strong minus the scraggly lines. heh
But i would like to see the value pushed with some color, like you metnioned. Right now i only have access to a pi 200 with a mouse, so i can't help you, but i would really like to see it when it is finished.
might help to post the reference pic

That is spectacular for a mouse. I don't have a tabet and I just gave up on the mouse, but when I see stuff like yours, I really get motivated.
GOod job so far, can't wait for the finished product.
