Hey there. You guys keep inspiring me. DAMN YOU! I've got Dishes to do!

I've seen a lot of star wars Stuff going on lately, that, combined with my horrible urge to see Yoda kicking butt made me paint this. and before you ask... YES those are lightsabre nunchucks. and as to how he's holding them... THE FORCE!!! uhm... yeah that'll do.

I'm from Edmonton so when I finish this up I'm gonna throw it at bioware just for laughs. Whaddaya think? He's gonna be kicking Boba Fett in the head.

Chapel was askin' about Illyana earlier in the other forum And that made me start painting this. Jeeze I think I'm like... learning or something. I like the hair personally.
Yeah... SO the magic stuff's cheesy... so what... YOU GOT A BETTER IDEA????? I'd seriously love to hear it honestly. ha ha.

If anyone wants to give me some technical advice. or overpaint something, or Just tell me to give it up and go back to colorin' funnybooks . Be my guest I'm pretty new at this.

And the woman, is she supposed to be an X-man? Cuz the belt iz X-men's logo..

Hey, ya, what ever happened to Illyana? She used to hang out with Dr. Strange and stuff. For anyone who doesn't know, she's Colussus' younger sister.

Cool pic by the way. The only advice I would give is to work on your edges more, make them more well defined. Things are looking a little lumpy right now. And it might be cool to have her jacket, or cape or whatever, be flying back so that it looks more like she's floating.

Holy CRAP! I just realized her Arms are like. WAY too short. I'll fix that when I wake up again. I'm painting poorly in this stage of sleepiness.

Fat Assasin: The plan for the Illyana one is to have a stepping disk above her head like a halo and to have the Sword/Cheezy light thing suggest wings. And then have that Devil Guy Belasco's Floating head in the background (or at least his horns and teeth and eyes or something cheesy like that)

Well Illyana got turned back into a kid. then The Kid caught the legacy Virus and DIED. Now claremont's writing the X-men books again so of course everyone's coming back from the dead and there's a new series centering around Illyana comin' out... Go figure... She looks Way different than this though. I just got all inspired like.

So it's still before the clean up edges stage in my Backwards style of paintin' But Keep pointing stuff like that out I miss details like that sometimes.

X-pLaGue: thanks. And she's from the "New Mutants." a derivitive X-team that they Turned into "X-force".

Like the Yoda pic. It's amusing to see Yoda in a pose like that, I've only ever seen him sitting or walking.
Illyana looks good. The light effects on the sword and her left hand are nice. The only problem I see is what you've noticed and that's her arms look too short.

Now I'm no Star Wars loyalist or anything, but I thought lightsabers can cut through anything. Is Yoda HOLDING the "blade" of the saber?? YeOucH!!!

Chapel: I don't understand the "Marsha! Marsha! Marsha!" reference but I take it she must look like someone? Actually One of my friends said "She looks like Traci Lords the Porn Star/Actress/Singer" and the other said "Draw her naked!" so...

I'm gonna either Fix her arms. (and her Hips I noticed now too now. ) or draw in my Boba Fett now.
