Well, i got my tablet some days ago, and this is what i have to show after some hours of work, i was a little impressed by myself when it was finished, i just scanned an old lead sketch and started colouring the face, and look what i ended up with. Christ... Its the grim reaper himself, look out!

i see the ghrim reaper keeps in Shape down there in Hell huh? maybe he OFFED billy Blanks and got a Six Pack lol!
cool pic
love the detail in the hand... but perhaps you lost some of that detail when doing the cloak. its like the cloak has very smudgy detail near the top and then looses all detail as it gets towards the bottom. And maybe you want to show the reapers right hand or something, i know its supposed to be under the cloak or hidden by it, but i think it would look better if you showed the hand or arm or something...well thats my critique peaaaaace

Yo man!
I agree Malorum's words. And one thing which stings to my eyes is flare. Now your steel reflects light like the sun would be shining from front of the man, isn't? I think that now the bottom side of the steel should have to be dark and top side would be light?! I guess..
Btw, nice pic. |

Nice stuff Kebab.
I would try and lose the airbrush look. go for flat colour first and then smooth it out. I don't see many sharp edges, which would give a bit of contrast.
Try and ditch the lines as well. Either go for a coloured line art look or get rid of them compleatly (IMveryHO).
The robe seems to become mist and the shaddow takes on form. (on purpose?) I really like this effect the pose is nice as well.
I can't wait to see what you come up with next. it's very good for a first go. |

I like it but my only problem with it is that it's a little to blurred. The face needs more definition.
Otherwise good work.
