I couldn't resist, this movie just looked so cool! The plot sucked though.

The cell is really my new favorite movie. You didn't like the plot? I thought the plot could have been a little better written and thought out, but still pretty cool.

I also liked this charector alot. It's the killer's charector when Jennifer Lopez goes into his mind right? The hair is sweet.

Also the visual effects in this movie were so god-like. It really gave you the feel that you were in the movie. Especialy the desert. Wow, that little kid freaked the hell outta me man!

Another cool part was his cape. And all the outfit's were basically great. So great. Wow. - By the way, did you have any photo refrences? If so how did you enquire them?

Shane: The Cell had a plot?? Such a shame that movie blew and sucked so hard, it was so beautiful.

Great pic. Your work just keeps getting better and better... and it was pretty awesome to begin with!

Very nicely done Shane. Switching back and forth betwixt the photo and yours, I hardly see any differences. Everything, right down to the spacing on the page, is almost exactly the same. Neat.

i just saw The Cell yesterday, i didn't think it was all that bad of plot and stuff... maybe the graphics tricked me i guess.

dr . bang: Can't really tell ya, it depends on how well our games sell.

Anthony: Yea, I started with an image with the exact aspect as the original photo, but a lot bigger, then I use the grid in painter to get the spacing right. I actually made a pinter script out of this pic, and I was gonna post it, but it's like 50 megs.

DuKEZ: You never know I just might, I'd like to have a better reference than the one on that site though.

After all those rave responses, here's a kicker. I really don't think this is one of your better "copy" works. The original lighting is weird and the photo used as reference isn't that great to begin with, but but it seems like there's a lot of smaller value changes that were missed or added that just don't fit (the bottom of the chin is far brighter than it should be for an example). The colors are pretty much right on though, and you certainly have a knack for doing shiny stuff.

Haven't gotten a chance to view the movie yet, but I really like this image! I think you've capture the psycho well...from what I've seen. But something doesn't seem right...can't figure it out right now tho!

w00000t. that's lovely!

Ya know... someone that saw your Angelina at digitalart.org kept insisting it was a filtered photo. I finally convinced him it's not. He said if it is real then you are wasting your talent in the gaming industry.

Keep up the good work and keep making pretty games.
