I like the coloring style. Reminds me of a comic artist named Ken Stacy...very stylized... |

that's SO great! the colors are perfect, the shading is so dang smooth it's almost better looking than real, and the expressions are -- expressions!!
Great work my main man Merg!!

Looks amazing. The guy in the middle looks kinda pansy-assed... like me, actually... he's pretty much built like me... maybe you should add some muscle to make him look a lil tougher? I dunno... just a thought... but it really does look great

Awesome work, Merggie! I loved the movie, especially the characters and art style.
Coloring rocks, shading/lighting rocks, everything rocks. Are you going to do anything with the flat blue background?

Extremely cool, mergatroid. The expressions their poses, faces, and your lighting make it really come alive!
My only nitpick is the gun. the barrel looks a little curved, and the base of the handle doesn't line up with the body of the weapon.
nitpicks aside, this is incredible. i bow to your talent |

Thanks for your comments everyone. This image was done for some campaign having to do with Titan A.E. and coke I think. Prior to this all the images that were done in a more cartooney style but on this one they wanted something more realistic. They chose these three poses that I did for the styleguide and I painted over them to make them more realistic. They also asked to have the glow put in under some serious objections from me but they wouldn't have it (alittle glow would have been fine but whats there now is way too much). The bkg is the flat blue because they were just going to pick up the image and use it where ever.

Nice moody blue tones.
The way they're bursting out of the page looks nice. Good poses.
Nice job. |
