I looked on Wacom's web site (drooling over my 9x12 special edition USB that's arriving in a few days) and they say they require a "powered and working USB port" for the USB version. What, exactly, does it mean by "powered."?
I know what they mean by working, but do you have to have some sort of plug/power source to plug into the port to power it up or something?
My wacom will be arriving in a few days and if I find out that my USB port doesn't work because I have to buy a $50.00 power source for it...GRRRRR...
Please tell me that's not the case!

Does your computer turn on? Then you have a powered USB slot. |

Actually, it doesn't turn on. It turns off, it turns left, it turns right, it turns...but none of those turns lead to on.
Okay, that was lame, but I just couldn't resist. So sue me.
Thanks!

Yeah, you're all set. Just make sure you aren't running NT. It will need 98 or 2000. Um... unless you have a mac.
I have the same tablet btw. It kicks mucho butt-o. |
