As this is my first photoshop pic, ever (that is that I have coloured, I originally scanned it from my sketch book) so I would appreciate any helpers or pointers (criticism for short). Please Reply.
This is the picture I am talking about.

Ok, you are off to a good start. Here are some things to keep in mind.
Proportions for the arm:
The upper half of the arm should be equal to one and a half the size of the head.
The lower half of the arm should be equal to two twice the size of the head when the fingers are straightened.
The hand should be large enough to cover the width of the face.
(FYI Feet are usually the same size as the head from heal to toe.)
That should get you started. I leave some things, so other people can give you tips. (like those big choppers he has)

Thanks, I appreciate all advises I can get.
I've been colouring this for the last 4 hours.Trying to figure out how in the world you people are able to colour those pictures in Photoshop. I hope practice makes perfect (or almost perfect)

There's only one thing that I would like to ask. I originally sketched this thing on paper and then scanned it. Should I have retraced or inked it before I scanned it?

Depends on what kind of look you want. If you want it to look like comic book art then you should ink it. If you want it to look like something Dhabih did.. then you want to read his tutorial. |

Then there is always the question of making your own style how to do things. Although I will stick to tutorials for now, until I get hang of this that is
