I know I posted this in spooge's thread, but I was kinda hoping for a critique so I'm posting it again.
I did this in about 30 minutes. I think my original sketch looked better, and it took me about 2 minutes to do. Anyway.. have at it. |

Thanks spooge. Thats what I needed to hear. I actually changed the picture while I was painting. My sketch looked a little different. I was going for a speedy approach, but with failing results. I'll probably go back and redo this image to try and redeem myself somewhat. Now that I look at it a day later I see several other mistakes. |

I however long it takes you you should get the drawing more correct. It is too far out right now. So the time you spent painting this would have been better spent drawing.
I think that the idea of doing something quickly is to nail the important stuff and let the other stuff slide. If it takes you longer to work out a particular problem of drawing, do it. I don't think you will get further down the road by coloring an incorrect drawing.
Sorry, hope you don't think I am fussing with you... |

spooge if your still there... this is my starting sketch. Like I said before it was like a 2 minute jobby. I made the second sketch in about 3. I'm not really trying for speed I guess I've just developed a really bad habbit. Lately everything I've been scribbling to start out my drawings.
