Have you ever really wondered who you are talking to? Whom they might be related to? Whose to say you aren't talking to Madonna, Bill Cliton, or even Queen Elizabeth?
Well I know for a fact I'm related to some known people... Who are you related to (really no answers like "my mother" please.)

funny you should mention that, kind of a weird incident today in REAL life...
I met this girl earlier this semester..thought she was nice, and we talked every once in a while, she's kind of a slight goth type, reads H.P. lovecraft, likes Half life, a lot, which was cool, and today as I was getting lunch with her, I asked her why she dosn't drive to school, and she seemed kinda embarresed, so she asked me to guess how old she was... (I figured cus I told her I got my license at 18) and I guessed something around 18 too (honestly looked like it to me), she laughed, and went on to tell me that next month she's turning 14.... now I'm not sure how to act around her at all..... I mean I was getting around to getting to know this girl more seriously, but now it's completely weird...and from asking around, I mean no one in class (not even the teacher) knows how old she is... (and everyone guesses over 16-17) |

Um, er... I started looking about for info, and stumbled upon this http://www.hkkk.fi/~yrjola/war/faf/ww2aces.html
Hattinen, Lars is the name of this relative... He was famous for his bravery in combat, and after the war, when he flew for airlines, for always flying drunk... But an ace?!

My grandfather was also called Frans Mettes and was a famous painter/designer. He worked for Heineken, for example, his works go for alot on auctions and the son of the, also famous, Escher is an avid fan of his work and also has the largest Mettes-collection to date.
Also, my mother's brother is rather high-ranking in the Dutch government, but that's just boring... |

I'm related to King Harold the Second, who pretty much got his ass beat down at the battle of Hastings.

I'm related to Bob Dylan. He's a distant cousin I guess. I live in Minnesota.. where he was born. (not the same city tho)
Tho I'm always disapointed I never get any cash from him for birthdays.. then again, I doubt he knows of my existance.

My uncle by the name of Tom hunter owned Sports division, europes biggest chain of sports clothes/equipment shops. But he sold his buissness and now owns a large part of Glasgow Rangers FC. He's worth around 420 Million ($650 million)
Pitty i dont get much of that money ; |

I'm related to Grote Reber. He invented the radio telescope. I know.. big whoop. My great grandfather sold a house to Al Capone in Miami. That is kinda neat. My dad thinks I am related to Genghis Kahn from my mother's side of the family. Eh.. nothin special here. |

I'm related to an important king of Navarra, who lived about 1200 and who was two meters tall. They say that he broke the chains around the tent of Miramamolin in the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa, where we were reconquering our country from muslims.
