This image is work in progress but I am not
quite sure of it . Something is missing ,
I think .

Composition on that one is really good!
Looks like one of the Drizzt-Darkelf covers.

But you seriously should get rid of the blur tool! It can make a good drawing into a blurry.. dontknowwhat.

This image has potential, you should continue it.

Use a brush as opposed to airbrush/smudge. soft edges cover up form and make things ambiguious. You can still get smooth transitions with a round brush set to opacity (if you have a wacom of course). when we see something in the real world it is made up of both soft and hard transitions so it only makes sense to replicate this when drawing. also try to develope more of a lightsource instead of using sculpturial lighting. And use try to put some more colours in to give visuial interest. don't just paint something purple and white. use some deeps reds and blues. use white only for extreem highlights, and then only when it is really needed.

Nice pic though. Hope I've helped a bit.
