This is a necromancer who doesn't look as old
as he actually is . In fact he is about
1000 years old , don't ask me how he did it .
Any comments welcome . If you know of my earlier
postings youll realize that I have some more
skill in sketching than in coloring .

Looks fine..
Although at first I did not realize that this guys in the background are skeletons.
I guess its because they are so nicely dressed. Normally skeletons have the stuff on that they were killed in... and the fact that they are skeletons brings that their clothes are pretty worn at that time. Additionally spiky bones like on ribs tend to tear clothing apart-- maybe.
The skulls are a bit wrong.. the eyesockets are a bit too high IMHO
Then for the Necomancer (I always tend to use the word Necromancer.. Necromant sounds so strange to me.. [like "Watschelnder Komposthaufen", "Vernichter" and "Verdorbener" - if you play AD&D german ed. you'll know what I mean])
so for the Necromancer:
he looks very normal... almost like a guy from a rock video or something. You could add some small props to make him more mystic looking.. also asymmetrical clothing works well for evil wizards.
Well.. just my opinion on that.

Yes I know , he doesn't look like an evil wizard .
Then again he isn't supposed to . Currently
I m using him in one of my AD&D campaigns
and one attribute he had to have was that
must not look like an evil wizard on first
sight . The Herogroup would tear him apart
in a blink of an eye . Therefore he is a
little bit more sophisticated and not a
walking stereotype . 8P
As for the skeletons , yes their clothing
looks almost like fresh out of the mall .
That is because I didn't want to spend more
time on the picture for the details . Same
for the skulls .
Yep , the German names in the german AD&D
game are very lousy .
Well , maybe I ll give it a try for color ,
but only when I finished a new dark elf
coloring .
Do you want more of those sketches ?
And Thank you for your replies , it s hard
to judge the very own drawings .
