Hi there.
This is a sketch I've been working on tonight. I've been thinking about a story for a long time and I'm hoping to do a comic as soon as I improve my anatomy skills.
Basically, it is set in a Feudal world full of Great Houses. The House that this guy is from is a kinda Communist one(he's a baddy - booo!) and they basically spend most of their time fighting another House who have become Fanatics (also baddies - booo!!!). They are only a small part of the story though and the main hero is part of neither.
The guy is based on Nicholas Cage, who is one of my favourite actors!
Vebjorn, if you're around, I could certainly use some crits from the master!

Sounds like the story from Kurasawa's "Yojimbo" or Leone's spaghetti western "A fist full of Dollars". Stranger walks into town and gets the two gangs to start uo the war that will ultimately finish them off.
Anyway, enough of me. I really like the work you've been posting by the way.
Late,

So I guess the hero is an honest, hard-working american republican? |

mmmmmmm.... looks like we're gonna need 3 Great Houses.
Seriously though, the hero is from a House that is really an empire in decline. Basically, there's not much to do anymore, so he is disillusioned and leaving for new shores.
