Hello,

I found this forum late last night and I was amased by all the extremly well made images I found.

Soo.. I desided that I also wanna do this stuff. So I opend Photo Shop for the 5 time in my life and started creating..

This is the outcome of that.

I am not plesed whit how the image look but considering this was my first go on some thing like this I asume I shudent expect more..

Does any one know of any good online guides in ART/PS ? I have read in the forum about good books but I dont have the $$$ avalibel 4 some thing like that :/ .

First of all hi, and welcome on board!

Lemme try to give ya some tips:

first the sun is in the background, so the light should come from there.. but the elf is lit from the front-right. So you should add some shadows where the sun doesn't shine ( hehe ).

Anatomy is ok but you could work on the hands more.. especially his left hand, the fingers are too long and tentacle-like.

And put more some stuff in the background.. a castle, a mountain, a wood.. whatever.. so it does not look too empty there... mayber clouds in the sky..

ok some feedback on the image. on some places its way to blury and on other places is way to sharp.

the whole head part looks kinda flat like he have a flat paper mask in front of his real head.

well its not a tobad image with so litle experience. one thing to remeber it takes time to make an image

about tuts and other stuff you will probaly find some realy good links if you brows around alitle more in this forum...
