I was Just Painting away for half an hour in photoshop. SO I decide to see the changes for my since my last save. So I click on the little thumbnail in the history. My old image pops up... Great so I decide I wanna copy that pic so I select and copy..... OH shit MY Whole history just GOT reset AAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I couldn't go back to the great changes I had made....
HOW MUCH Does THAT SUK

Yeah.... time is linear, which sucks, but otherwise things could get messy 
The same rules apply to Photoshop history!
If you go back and perform an action the "future" is wiped....

Can't you change the settings. Go into History options and tick "allow non-liniar history"
I remember seeing the option but I never really explored it. So I can't promise anything.
Better late than never I suppose. |
