So I finally kicked myself hard enough to post something.
Go ahead and make me cry
Oh was I impatient when I got my wacom after over a month of waiting..
I had a picture for reference but it wasn't scanned and was resting on my kbd while drawing.. So no color "picking".
It was before I knew how to use the brush tool and only did airbrush (which I find rather dull to work with now).
2 hours work of starting over and over slaving on the face of the kid.
Speed pic of 30/45 mins. Reference was the lamp sitting next to me.
I know it seems like it's going to fall but the base is really heavy it's true lol
Forgot to draw the electric cord.. oops it was 5 am
aaaaahahaha ! It's been over two years since I drew a horse and it shows ! Completely out of proportion and guilty of using the same value for highlights and shadows.. Anyway, another insomnia work. Ya can shred it
Stop whinning about how big the pics are and get DSL or a new patience damnit !
Mister Fred, your "zealous-secretary" virus is contagious....

thats great.. I like the cleanness (if that is even a word) of the last picture most.
The girl in the first pic looks good too, just some edges are too hard and the bg is a bit empty. |

Thankee you all !
Hennifer: I heard Sting's song Desert Rose one too many time
I really have found memories of the Sahara and thought I could use it as inspiration. Like I said, no reference, no nothing. Just build from scratch while having a flashback.
Am I the only one whose inspiration bubbles during the night ?
gawd I'm turning into a nighthowl..
Ege getting an early night |
