Interesting...were those heads shot off the tops of the tower rod thingys?
The useage of the same object repeated in an image becomes very apparent unless you doctor each one up a bit after cloning them. All those heads really look a bit too repeated...
The image is also crying for something on the left side. I would actually float one of those heads over in that direction to fill the void. Cropping the image down a bit might help too.
The white you are using in the foreground is the same intensity as all the other white spots in the image. White diminishes, and becomes a part of the atmospheric color scheme the further back white objects recede into the picture plane...
Maybe some variation of the blue in the heads somewhere else in the image. The bounce lighting behind the pillars, or the atmosphere could have a bit of a navy blue in it or something. A color tie to unify the elements in the image a bit more...
Welcome aboard... |

Lethargic-you are not using upper case letters for the [IMG] portion of the URL..there also shouldn't be spaces between each of the letters. Click on the UBB Code is ON line to the left of the box you are typing in. It will better help you understand the posting procedure... |

ok, i understand the ubb code thing now.
I really appreciate the constructive criticism.
fred; i kind of had a feeling the heads would get repetitive, i was lazy and just made the background heads a bit wider using free transform,it apparently wasnt enough, point well taken. And about adding more colors and atmosphere stuff is a good suggestion too....maybe i'll just modify this image instead of starting on a new one to see how mudh i can improove it!

That's a nice picture.....hmmmm, but some things strike me as screwy (for lack of better terms First off, that head closest to um...us, is whacked. The cylindrical (sorry i should learn how to spell but im tired) which is the neck is way to sharp and the rest of the head seem blurry. Just a discontinuity problem.
Also, I'm not sure if the heads are supposed to be falling, but they seem a little too structured when it comes to the falling part. I mean, they should be twirling and tumbling, therefore in all wierd directions. Some more heads would be nicer.
all in all, nice pic, keep up the good work |
