Hello everyone,

Please excuse my use of a post to delcare my existance, I've been observing these posts for a while and haven't taking part in any of them...untill now. I'm a senior in high school and have been drawing since I was a wee lad and have been working as a production assistant at a local webpage/software company for about a year now. I will post some art when I can figure out how these ubb/html tags work(please tell me how if you know!)I'm extremly impressed with this place and hope to use it as a tool to make me a better artist!

Oh, about the UBB code...

[ b ] text [ / b ]
-makes text bold

[ i ] text [ / i ]
-makes text italic

[ i m g ] URL [ / i m g ]
-displays the image at the specified URL

[ u r l = URL ] Description [ / u r l ]
-creates hyperlink

Don't put ANY spaces AT ALL in UBB code. If there are any spaces, the code won't work. That includes IMG tags. If the URL has a space in it, the image won't show.

well i dont have an online portfolio yet so when/if www.digitalart.org posts my image I can link it from there right?

Even if you don't make a website yet, it would be a good idea to sign up for some free hosting somewhere so you can upload your own files to share here.

ASCII art is fun.
