proximo I like it man, it really has ALOT of potential! Dunno why but i see it as a head on a big mechwarrior kinda. the glass thingy being the visor... dunno if you see it too. (I'm probably just mad =)) Ill try sketching what i mean and post it if u want.

for crit.. it looks a bit soft now, maybe make sharper lines for the edges.

keep working on these!

pretty nice there proximo. tho i think i see some perspective problems.

as for the girl, well, this is why i dont date much. i generally find that women my age are still acting like little girls in elementary. as for if your depressed... well, i find that painting sometimes helps, sometimes doesnt. try to draw from your emotions. thats what i do. at least you feel something, unlike other people who'll mask any hint of sadness. go's to show your a real human being.

Time to channel that pain into some great art.

To help you with the ships, you might want to consider drawing some axis lines to help you with the perspective.
As I am about to shut down, or I would post an example, I would recommend going to doug chiangs site and look at some of his work if you dont already own the art of episode ! book. See the cross hairs in his images, these are axis lines, to help him differentiate hrizontal from verticle in his depth, and he also sets them up for any cyliderical shape, to help keep everything centered, and lined up. This little bit will really help you out in terms of keeping everything on the right the same, and equal in proportion to everything on the left, etc...
Good luck, and don't worry about the girl thing too much, if anything, channel it into your work, use the anger thing to push yourself and create many amazing images...

Bro, you are genuinely making me sad with your story.
Cheer up! Like actors on stage, take the negativity and turn it into energy.

Many a great works of art came out of a sad state too. You can use it.

Yo man!
I know what youre talking about, when im in a bad mood i cant do anything, i try but it all ends up with a paper full of bulletholes (maybe more like pencilholes).

But there aint nothing to do but wait for better times.

Regards, Kebab

ooooh yeah, i was just in that sorta mood earlier... not near as big, but i got the half-way feeling of that -- and hey!! you're the only one that can make yourself happy, other may help, but just tickle yourselve and don't act like no one cares that'll just make you feel worse.

just.... be happy!! sometimes it also helps to stop doing what you normally would do, just try something new, explore the world, and then when you get back you'll realize that you were at the peek and just platuead and just couldn't get any higher. um. actually, i don't know, but SUPER great work!! i wanna see something get shot with that blaster!
