i gather that at least a few of you live in the sf bay area. i was wondering if any of you could suggest any good figure drawing classes in the area? it seems as though all of the top rate programs are in SoCal but since i live in palo alto and work a strenuous hi-tech job i haven't a chance in hell of getting to attend any of these, which is a shame because my company would be willing to pick up a large share of the tab.
thanks, and oh yeah, any decent painting classes? |

phreaknasty-
I'm enrolled at a place called Cogswell in Sunnyvale. They're more of a 3d oriented school, but their figure drawing instructor is *very* good. His name is Reid Winfrey. He brings in some students who have never drawn a person in their life and has them doing pretty impressive work by the end of the semester. I believe he might teach figure drawing courses outside of Cogswell. I could look into it if you want. |
