Hey all!
Do anyone here have any tips when it comes to publishing art, i dont know much about how it works. I dont have very much to do right now so i would like to try to sell some of my stuff, maybe for comic magazines or... well, i dont know, where should i start.
Ive been getting nice comments on my art lately, but maybe ill need to improve, what do you think? One thing i DO know is that someday im going to work as an artist somewhere.
Anyway... thiss my latest pic, what do you think of it?

What do you want to be published. your stuff is mostly just single drawings in B+W pencil. It looks like you really want to get into Gamesworkshop stuff because that's what you draw. I would imagine that you get a portfolio together of your best drawings and send it to them along with a resume and ask them if you can do some Illustrations. You will probably need to do some scenes as opposed to just character drawings, becasue this is what you are most likely to be doing. I would imagine that it will be hard to get in the door of a place like that becasue they already have a ton of really good Illustrators. I don't really know what else your drawing would be suited to. When goinn comercial you have to meet the needs of the publisher/client as opposed to handing them your style and expecting them to take it. Work up a few more styles so that you have a chance of doing more stuff than games workshop. The drawings that come in those D&D books are usuialy crap, so you might be able to do that sort of thing seeing as your stuff is way better. But unless you get a dream job where you get to draw GW stuff exclusivly, expect to work up a few more styles, or expand your vocabulary into a bit of D&D stuff.
