Hey - some of you guys know this site, but many of the newer members don't:
http://www.digitalart.org
is owned by one of the members (Gliebster) and is really cool, cause it's using a lot of scripting and has an automatic voting system.
Mail him, and he'll post your images there - and you can see them climbing on the charts - check it out!

Yeah - kind of an ad, but let me explain, Freddio:
Gliebster made this site, inspired by this forum. It's non-profit and really well done. He recently told that unfortunately he's not getting a lot of hits and doesn't know how long he still can keep it up. Since I like his site a lot and don't want to see it go down, I thought I reintroduce it to have the new people take a look at it - did you check it out?

I submitted to that site once and they never replied or posted my art. So.. no hits from me. I'll stick to gfxartist.net |

Chapel, if you had taken a little time to read their disclaimer that they provide you after you post an image to them then you would have known why they didn't post it for you.
If i remember correctly they said that they didn't want any hard feelings regards of not posted art work, but they are trying to keep the site filled with only high quality images. So apparently they must have not gotten to it, or they didnt like it. Oh well.
Regardless, it's a great site for everyone to enjoy, and everyone should enjoy it. And be thankfull that it's their for free to give artists publicity and for whoever damn well pleases, just to get on the internet and look at some high quality, grade A, 100% PURE ground ART!

Hey, I just realized there are exactly 400 images in the gallery now. Spiffy. |

waaa...how on Earth did i manage to miss this one.
Great site Glibster! It's a pitty youre not getting as many hits as it deserves. Hmmm, have you tried signing it on to one of the "art rings" in webring.com. I know some folk consider rings to be lame (mainly sceners - unsurprisingly!), but I ve never really heard one valid argument against them...only that they're "lame", period. I know for sure they generate a lot of traffic. Also, Webring have just merged with Yahoo which will surely bump up the general hit ratio of it's members. Try it - you can only win.
Also, try some kind of Link exchange deal with some of the other more popular sites. that's another sure-fire way to generate more traffic.
Anyway, keep at it mate...youre doing a fantastic job! |

i didn't know about the site either, nice work on the design. i've been showing it to a lot of my friends.
if you haven't already, try to get people with more popular sites to link to you. like synj or spooge demon. i'll add you to my links (not that anyone visits my site.)
