The answer, still, is no. It's an option, but the question has been adressed already and shot down. I belive that it was ruled that it would be much more of a bane than a benefit.

agreed, especially in threads where there are already 20 or so pics - you don't want to add any more to the download time...

Yeh, we can use images in out sigs.. but they've gottem over at tech13's board, and they're fairly annoying. people get all egotistical and junk too. i hope nothing starts here (i shouldn't have jinxed it)

I know this has been asked but I don't remember where... Okay if you've ever been to Dr.Ozones forum it's a lot like this one... they have picture signatures? Can we do it here? I know the answer was no to the first person who asked, but I thought maybe that person hadn't been to Ozone's forum... and since the forums are so alike I thought that we might be able to, or is that an add-on this forum doesn't have?

Express yourself with your posts, not with your sig...leave the sigs to the k3vvl d00ds or however they spell it.
This is an art forum so there shoudn't need to be any signatures adding to download times. I've been to other forums and it's somehow annoying to see every single post ended with an annoyingly large signature that's simply composed of a couple clips from bitmaps of anime interspersed with some lens flares. It's nice to come here and get what I came for. And yes, as Nova said, signatures tend to lead to competition and egos...something I'm sure that we have enough of here being artists, all in good nature of course =).
Soon you'll also see wasteful threads titled "Look at my new sig! It r0><0rs!" Ok, that's a bit farther than I think it would get but you see my point I hope. People are already complaining about the speed of threads being posted to the forum so this would just be adding to the mess.
Uhhh, I think I'll stop talking now...I think the only reason I'm saying all this is because only yesterday I visited one of those kind of forums.

Are you a hippie Flinthawk? The only people I've ever met from Eugene, Oregon are hippies. In fact, all the hippies I know from this area, look forward to going to Eugene...
Of course, the only people I've ever met from Eugene happened to be at Reggae on the River...

Hehe, I'm as far away from being a hippie as I can get. I shower, I'm clean cut and I live in the downtown area...in an apartment, not a VW van. And there aren't hippies here anymore...they all had kids that turned into anarchists =). I'm actually from the East coast, went to school in the Seattle area, took a job at a game company here in Eugene. I'm looking for a way to get back to the Seattle suburbs though...nothing to do around here except drink and watch football...you know, typical college town type stuff. I've had a couple friends of mine visit me here and the first thing they'd say is, "Does anybody shower around here?!"

Okay-
I had just noticed that Dr. Ozone and this forum are from the same and was wondering if it was an option you could have added or if it just came with a whole package not that I wanted it here. Dr.Ozone forums take forever to open with them and do cause a distraction from what's being said.
