This one was really quick - just done for fun with the lighting - unfortunately I forgot to check the perspective - that's why the ship is all skewed ... well - that's another trashcan image - but at least it's not a sunset, harhar ...
have a nice weekend, my fellow painters!

That rocks, Loki. That's probably the sharpest, cleanest image I've seen you make. Yeah, the skip is a little skewed, but I like it anyway. Awesome job. |

Jeezus...How do you pound them out like that? Gah! hehe Good job, Loki; Since you already mentioned the perspective, I won't even try and critique it...It gives a good sense of speed and tight-maneuvering...hehe

Yeah, the motion blur is pretty effective. I like the cold metal highlights.

oooh oooh! Cop out for ya.
The warp engines are producing graviton waves that are distorting the ship from the viewer's perspective.
whadaya think?
Ahh forgeddit. Looks very nice though; very crisp indeed. |

Nice work, real crisp. How long did it take for you to create the image? And why would you want to trash it? |

Muchos G guys ...
That image took me about 2-3 hours while I was working in 3D on another machine. It's usually boring when you do that, so I start little paintings, that I work on when the other machine is busy rendering.
psi: I did it in Photoshop ...
Axl: the perspective on the ship is totally screwed up - but I just carved it out of a big black blob without caring too much, so, oh well.
The motion blur is a cheap trick to avoid completing the foreground with more detail - on the other hand, it works out fine too, since the dynamics start rolling ...
