Hey guys...I need to get some suggestions on these characters for my weekly comic strip that's coming up...

Thanks...I'll add more details to the description of these two (not the only characters in the comic btw) when asked...Thanks!

Ok give us more info.

Hard to crit if there is only a front on shot. Make up a character sketch page with front/side on views of the body and some different vievs of the head, and then chuck in an action shot. sometimes things look good from a certain angle but the fall down when the design has to be put into practice.

Hope this helps :/

::ugh::shudders::
there were 2 kids in my lunch period last year who looked exactly like your 2 sketches..bad memories

you cant really expect anyone to crit something like this, because..well..

ok for one, are you GOING for this kind of style/look for these characters? if so, theres nothing really wrong about them since they're your own style.. however, if you are going for the newspaper-comic-generic look, then you could fix things up (like facial expression..)

as for suggestions ,i really wouldnt bother flipping to the page this comic was located on unless there were something awkwardly funny about these characters...like, if you got them into situations where they're trying to act gothic (guessing by their appearance), but never work out right....like they try to put a spell on someone but it does something really weird instead...or they get food thrown at them in a school environment...i dont know.

Ok more info =P

The style is intended.
I get alot of comments about how "all goths look alike". So I played it off; Both the characters have the exact same facial features but different hair and clothes.
Both characters (as well as the rest of them) will remain virtually expressionless throughout the entire comic strip, opening their mouths only to spout one-liners to passersby or philistines that happen to insult them. The theme is set around an outside table at a coffee shop where the characters converse while sipping their drinks. =P -- The character naming conventions are currently after male/female daemons, but if anyone has anything better, I'd be happy to hear it.
And yeah...The characters are supposed to look completely bland and lifeless like they do...That's the _joke_. =P

Visigoth,

I like the characters and the spin
on the plot. What are the other
characters like? If you can, I'd
like to see the storyboards. Good luck.
