I am not doing anything else to these pictures. "just because they are more or less learning studies" But I see the okwardness in them. They are my first figures in PS and basically studies. "the clothing on them is not referenced, reason for the lack of realism".
figured it out: no .gif's just .jpg's

I don't see anything particluarly wrong with the images (aside from the fact that placing the copyright notice right on top REALLY ruins the flow of the images.)
I imagine you've already seen his work, but in case you haven't, I'd suggest you look at a few Mapplethorpe photos. He does some incredible nudes, in a very similar style to your art. Some of the best compositions I've seen for a single figure without a background (once again, like you're doing.) |

thanks for the repy waylon,
I never heard of Mapplethorpe before but, doing some searches to look at his work.
Only having two images done at this point, and being nudes in b/w. People assume that this is my style. I haven't found a "style" yet but, I do have women focused as a subject base. Hopefully once I get a few more pictures done things will clear up. (that is if i can get me off my ass.)
I apologize for the over the images. It is the same as in my website so, don't think i did it just in the forum but, not in the original files.
-thanks-
