I was wondering the average time each day you spend on artwork. I can get lost for hours on a sketch alone, much less the painting part.
How much time out of your day do you do any type of graphics or art?

about 13 hours including breaks. I'm currently freelancing (aka unemployed), so I'm looking for a steady job and filling up my time with artmaking. My girlfriend is giving me a hard time about spending so much time on art and not on her |

I model, bone, vertex-weigh and texture 3d models 8 hours a day... I go home, drained, and I sometimes put in an hour at most... sadly. |

It's hard go gauge the time per day...Some days I draw...Some I don't...
Total working time on my average piece, is around 45 - 50 hours, I would say. 75 - 90 for more complex pieces...

I work between 12-20 hours a day on artwork. Not all of that is busy work. There is more mental work than physical but its all work no less... |

If you include all the time it takes me to research, sketch, photograph, and sketch as well as the final painting than probably about..um... 56 to 100 hrs.
I am working on something now that is probably taking me 5,000 hrs. |
