Did this realtime on TAKEOVER (3-day LANparty) in Holland.
Met a guy there who did anime style so i thought i go for it as well.
Didn't win the contest but enjoyed the new experience.
Any comments?

I like the pose, but i think her hand are too big and there's something wrong with her neck, maybe it's too thick(if you compare it to the rest)

I agree with Micke..and add her calves to boot. She looks like shes supposed to be.."attractive"..so Id scale down her hands, neck and calves..and then you got yerself a first-rate anime-hottie. Hehehe

Her arms look a bit short and stumpy and the same goes for her fingers, also the face seems flat. Other than that, its cool.

that isnt anime, sorry to say. its more like american anime/manga, if you know what i mean by that. get yourself more influenced by the "anime" style with movies and such, so you can make the images more true. |

Make your images more true? I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with you psi burn. First of all, there is no distinct 'anime style', every anime or manga is different; from Miyazaki's stuff to Akira, Outlaw Star to Spriggan...etc. Just about any good 'anime' artist or studio has its own distinct style. As for Manga, Manga just means comics, if you've been to Japan you'd notice that even so called 'american style' comics(i.e. Jim Lee) is called manga aswell. I'm sorry to single you out I'm just growing tired of all these misconceptions. As for American/anime style(i.e. american artist emulating a particular japanese artist or style) Joe Mad's BattleChasers was selling incredibly well in Japan before he stopped doing it. They dindn't think Joe was drawing 'american anime', just an american artist drawing 'manga'<--comics

Still too big... hehe they were even bigger already made them smaller.
I see that the face is crappy shaded, so i'll try to fix that. Plus the neck like freakin Goldberg
The statement that Jim Lee's style is Anime don't get... i believe that image comics (most artist) draw a certain style. But not associated with Anime. But hey, what do i know Only Anime i watch and read are about violence and sex
Maybe i should change the topic to : Naked winged chick with big hands and a neck like Goldberg.
Thnx for the comment.
Jeff
