..is that the way he looked in the photo?...he or she looks very skinny at least compared to bears I've seen....feed that thing would ya!!......just kidding
the eyes are very hard to distinguish
and around the mouth or should I say maw , I'm not sure if it's the way I'm looking at it or the perspective...looks a little odd

i really like this! especially impressed with the way you used the brush to communicate the feeling of fur.
the bear looks very well-proportioned to me - bears are pear-shaped especially when they're standing on their hind legs. most of the mass is in their back end and hind legs.
