You might be getting ths problem if you installed the drivers on the cd that came with the tablet... these are usually quite old -- I had simular problems before... check out the wacom website for newer drivers.

Well, I had a similar problem develop recently... I've found an easier way to fix it than reinstalling, though (Never tried that, actually. Too lazy)- just go to the tablet preferences, find the 'driver on/off'check box and uncheck it, then check it again. Then close the preferences and it might work. (Well, that fixes it for me anyway)

I also have a problem with my tablet.
No this isint regarding the previous problem, but i didnt want to start a completly new thread for my problem.
I recieved my Graphire tablet on Thursday.
And since I first installed it, I'd been having this problem.
The VERY middle of the tablet is smaller or bigger then the rest of it.
Not literally, but when the pen is there.. the pointer on the scren will go crazy fast!
It will zoom all over and magnify whatever i do by triple.
But it only does it in the DEAD middle. Its about a half a centimeter on the tablet.. but the space on my screen is about 2 inches... odd isint it?

Guys, the best thing you can do with odd problems like this (especially yours Ex) is to contact Wacom's help desk. That's what they are there for and that's what you paid for.. They'll be able to help you much more efficiently..
