So tell me, all you web gurus out there. Where can I find a free, good, stable, nifty, simple, hit counter. I need one. I have been looking around but most are big colorfull ugly looking piles of shit. SIMPLICITY is the key to web design (at least thats what they always told me) so thanks a load.

Web design and simplicity depends on the objective Promoting a service, then simplicity isn't necessary...you want art and graphics..if you are making a information portal w/ 50-100 links on each page, then simplicity and organization then is key.

I don't use counters much. Usually I use a service called www.extreme-dm.com/tracking

This is free and tracks almost everything about every visitor, where they came from, how many times they reloaded, etc.

Tells a lot if the design is working or not.
