I like to clear some things up about copyright, I dont feal like typing a big post on this so Here the Link:

I will high-ight this:
Copyright is a form of protection provided by the laws of the United States. Authors of "original works of authorship," including "pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works." The owner of copyright in a work has the exclusive right to make copies, to prepare derivative works, to sell or distribute copies, and to display the work publicly. Anyone else wishing to use the work in these ways must have the permission of the author or someone who has derived rights through the author.

"Copyright Protection Is Automatic"

If you file a Fourm for copyright, its more faster to seddel a law suit.

US isn't the only place in the world though. So how do their laws effect people in other countries.

You can copyright Artwork from other countries to read Form VA.

As for Laws on other countries, You have to look that one up.
