The shadow really doesn't look like it's coming from the kid. It's somewhat distracting that the shadow is so much sharper than the rest of the image. Apart from that I really like it. When and art peice envokes an emotional response, I tend to think that whatever the artist intended to do with the picture succeeded.

Really moody picture. I like it. specially the face and the message of the picture. And the fact that is grayscale.

I recommend blurring the shadows to the end.. I made an example, I ended up blurring too much but anyways, check it out..

Nur: my email to you bounced, so I guess I've got to explain it to you here.
Your server does not support the way the UBB code shows your images, don't ask me why. Maybe it was because your filename had about 50 characters, but I really dunno. But I copied your pic and placed it on my server, and that's why it's showing now. So if you want to show them some of your other pics, get an account on another server.

Everything feels a bit too soft in contrast to that cast shadow of yours. I would recomend that you soften up the cast and tighten up some of the shapes in the body until they all feel like their part of the same family.

Poi mi spieghi come hai fatto a fare una "thumbnailed gallery" con le immagini piccole da 54 K...mezz'ora per caricarle...

L'immagine non pu� essere visualizzata con l'ubb dal server dove l'hai messa semplicemente perch�...nella pagina che scrivi www.babak ecc ecc non c'� solo la tua img...ma tante altre cose come un banner pubblicitario, un pulsante ecc...tutte cose che non vengono riconosciute dal "trasferitore di immagini"...
