It is still unfinished ..but I would like to get some feedback on how I am doing so far .. how does it look ? is it a good composition? colors?.. shape? ... I appreciate your comments

The fingers need some work I think (too thick).

I guess to talk about the composition and colors its a bit too early since its not fully colored yet.

He belongs to the mutants? He seems not to be mutated? (or maybe he is but not on places that are shown here )

thanks NEX... what about the shape and color . on the head .. that is mostly waht I am worry about . I updated the picture with newer version .. also what do you think about the fur so far

oh and he is not supposed to be mutated he is just an inmortal person . regular human that cannot die because of nanobots in his body ..

Ah, yeah I know that problem.. these nanobots, once they are inside you there is no way to get rid of these pesties.

The bald part of the head looks quite good (with the highlights especially.)
But bones that form the brows are never connected as far as I know. Then he does not have eyebrows, this is maybe the cause why he looks so angry.

The highlights on the jaws schould be checked too ..

Fur looks very cool imho. Fingers are better but his left hand is still a bit strange

Cranium of the guy looks a little too bulbish. It's the way you have chosen to color it. Remember core shadows? Go look at the sphere in the Paint along tutorial...You needn't worry about composition when doing a character study. Just get the character design working solid and that will wow the image enough. The design by the way is looking solid. Colors work well. Is he noble or is he a warrior? If he is a warrioir, then is this his uniform, vs. his combat suit or field suit as you would specifically call it? Reason I ask is there is no wear or tear is his digs, and if he were as wicked a combatant as he looks, you might need to emphasize that more in the coloration, and in the freshness of the greeblies you have attached to him. Also, if he is a warring type, his hands would have big nobby knuckles, scars on the fingers, etc. These are his combat weapons, swords and axes are only the extension of the real weapon, him. He needs to show this more. His hands look like those of a wizard or sorcerer. Solid, rigid, and slender, kinda an oxymoron, but they look that way. These are all tidbits you should constantly be aware of when character designing.

Wow a reply from Fred .. the master himself. I appreciate the feedback, given. I know the problem with the head ... I think it can be fixed by changing the placement of the highlight .
And he is a noble person rather than a warrior. He is a concept character from a story Shahar wrote some posts ago.
He is an Inmortal, he is sustained by nanobots that live within his body, he cannot dye. He however never wanted this, it is more of a disease to him than anything: not been able to dye" ..so he has taken upon himself to record History , since he has nothing better to do . SO he goes around the world recording historic events. He looks mad because , well he is been around forever so he is very skeptic about everything , so he has an attitude ..
