Hi there
Well... almost any program could be used to create that type of logo:
Bitmap programs all the way from paintbrush in Windows to good old (expensive) Photoshop.
Paintshop Pro would be a good starting program.
Vector based programs like Illustrator and Freehand would also be great for this type of logo, and if made with vectors the logo could also be rescaled to all resolutions without loss of quality....
I myself, always (well... almost always) use Illustrator for doing logotype work. And then maybe I rework them in Photoshop if greater detail and effects are needed.
But mostly I keep my logos pretty clean and simple.
have a nice day....

for this logo windows draw should be more than sufficient.. you could even do it in ansi and make a screenshot i guess ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/wink.gif) |

In my oppion it looks that he create a pretty simple logo with Photoshop then he use Microangelo to convert to an icon and then he change the size back. |

heh .. that logo was created in a 16 bit program .. its actually called an ansi ... it was probably made in dos mode and then converted to a gif or jpg with an ansi converter ... check out ftp.cdrom.com/pub/artpacks/ ... and look for the programs folder and download AcidDraw ... where to get an ansi converter .. i don't know ... but ... i'm almost positive it is an ansi that has been converted to hirez...

oh my god.. i'm going back in time here hehehe i LOVED making ansi art! little demon guys and stuff hehe
yeah he probably used "theDRAW!" which was really really big back then.. it was like the photoshop of today. and then just loaded it in a dos shell, took a screen cap, then bam.
i bet you'd be able to find thedraw! on a search too
