a few things about it disturb me a bit.

one, the shadows should be stronger and darker, it looks too plain now

two, the outlines.. they are a wee tad too thick and strong. ditch them completely? *shrug*

add thorns to the whatevertheheck is that part.. a straw or something? ( )

a background wouldn't hurt either. even something pretty abstract and vague would propably do. but kill the white. it makes the picture look.. so... er. white.

If you gonna have a outline, make it in a darker shade, like disney does. It also looks a bit muddy on top of it because of the shading.Make it sharper.
Also you could add thorns to the stilk in order to make it more interresting. What is it for by the way? And yeah, if you gonna post this one again please post it in the original thread.
Hope this can help a bit

Tone down your line drawing a lot. Its ok to have it blend into the background on the highlights.

And try not to have the type so boring. Experiment with the type and move it around and try different sizes. Use your creativity.

Don't be afraid to try some crazy design.

a couple of points:

* Dhabih probably has better things to do, than worrying about your painting.

* we're all willing to help, but if some paintings fall through the cracks, wait a little bit and try a different (more completed) painting. Maybe your stuff simply doesn't inspire any comments - that's a comment itself too.

* YOUR NAME IS THE LEAST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT YOR IMAGE!!!!
God, how I hate it when people come with some half finished crap where their name takes up half the image ... Your name won't make it any better. Worse, you make it easy to associate bad images with your name ...

* learn, learn, learn - if you want to get out a reaction of Dhabih, make something cool, so he might even give you positive feedback ...

sorry - my bloodsugar is low right now ...

I'm new here and even I am willing to flog Foz with that damned rose. If drastical changes have been made..that might inspire comments. That's my own opinion though..I'm just saying this because I only notice something if I stare at it for quite awhile
