Well, I decided to try something new today. This is my first intentional cartoony/caractiture ....ever. Some of my stuff turns out looking cartoony, but I'm ussually not trying!

Since this is very new to me I have no real reference to whether or not people will like or dislike this picture. All critisms are welcome!

Ok, since you wanted suggestions, here they come:
I think he's got too neutral expression on his face, after all he is the ratcatcher and he just caught a yummy rat.. try a wide grin or smile. And the fang looks somehow lonely or loose, perhaps different shape, angle or size would do it.

The catcher's body is excellent and the rat looks cute. Way to go, I like the pic.

I like the colors a lot. Really turned out quite a bit cleaner than the sketch! I'd have to say that I like the linework on the colored version the most. Very pro looking, in my opinion

One question though: Why did you leave some white areas in the colored version? Was that intentional?

Otherwise, very cool pic!

I'll have to see about modifying the face somewhat to give it a more evil/starved/hungry look.

Shadow: Why, didn't you know..it is a girl! (Just Kidding) I noted that as well, but I originally wanted to give the goblin a more transfixed/innocent look. That may change in the final version. Hopefully I will get to play with this picture more soon.

Lange_Pisang: Right on the money...goblins aren't exactly picky eaters in my opinion, and why else would golbins care about mice or rats ?

laslauk: Yeah..that tooth started to bother me after a while too. I think it may be a bit too straight up and perhaps a little large. I think I'll have it jutting outwards more and make it smaller. We'll see

g:tech: The white areas are just there because I didn't have enough time to complete the picture. I posted it just before I had to start doing something else. I plan to clean it up a little more in the final version (maybe give it some sort of background as well).
