Hi,
Been sketching in photoshop quite a bit lately. I really like Mickes b/w's he's been posting up here and thought I would have a go at that kinda style. I quite liked how it turned out, sorta sketchy, not sure if it would of looked that way if I'd used a pen. Anyway thought I'd post it up here.
Cheers.

This is sweet. I can almost hear the sound of metal and machinery. |

Kyri: Was it you awhile back that posted the unfinished image of the woman walking a .. dog (I think?), there was a wall.... a man behind her maybe? You (if it was you) wanted to know if something should be coming out of the wall, etc. Forgive me if I'm incoherent but I'm just barely remembering it, and wanted to know if anything ever came of it? Did I miss it somehow? Was it not you at all? Am I asking too many damned questions?

Reminds me of some judge dredd comics If you'd draw cartoons with this quality they'd be nice
ps. erm.. look at his right leg, creepy n large eh or is it just because of perspective dunno. aww ok. too nice. |

Nice.
Though I do think that you need to seperate the individual pieces a little better. I can read the character pretty well, but when it comes to his right arm and the sourroundings it's getting a little too messy ( Yes! I know this is a sketch...but anyway...)
I love working in this style as well.. Got any more?

Hiya
Cheers, Ctrl+Z,Micke.
Nicole, Yeah...it was me and you didn't miss much, at all. I decided to put that one on the backburner for a while to get some other stuff out the way first. I should be returning to it soon tho, and I will post it here as soon as it's finnished. Thanks for being interested, and no, your not asking too many questions at all.
Thank's very much Kat , HumanClay and jcole, and that leg is huge and was even
bigger before I changed it, lol.....yeah, I used to read 2000 AD quite a lot and was definetly inspired by a few of their artists, mainly Simon Bisley and Glen Fabry, two British artists who are both awesome, anyone who hasn't seen their work should definetly check it out.
Yeah I definetly agree with you Boomstick that it gets muddled in the left side area....I was a bit confused as to what I was gonna put there. Originally was gonna be his arm holding something and I just lost the plot as I went along, heh, heh. I haven't done much of this kinda digital stuff, although I did one before this one, similar style but not as loose and I prefer this one now.
I'll post the old one here anyway.
