Well, I'm new to digital art, and this forum, so none of you will know me. However, I am talented at art in general, and am going to study a BA in Computer Arts at university next year. So I need to know how to start. I don't have a comp good enough to run photoshop, but I could buy a digital tablet thingy. Which one is best, and how the HELL do they work? Do they include built-in paint programs, how comprehensive are they, and is it worth me bothering to get one? REst assured, if I get one on my two week holiday in San Francisco in early July, then you will not have to wait long to see some of my work! |

If you're comp cant handle photoshop, you must have like a 386!
I run PS 5.1 on a P75, and I used to run 2.5 on a 486!!
I have 400, but my bro is on that thing like 24/7 playing half-life, so I dont use it much.
I have managed to tweak my 75's setting enough to run Photshop and Paiter with acceptable performance. It's not perfect by any measure, but it works. |
