No..thats good..
yea, the shading makes a lot of problems when coloring...
I have done like this, i just makes a new layer above the sketch. And then just trace the contures...but, idont know..
like this
but it seems, a bit...ruf or not as clear as others..ahh...

Hallo...
I new at painting on the comp! And i having some thinks that are not really clear...
When cleaning upp a scaned pic...is just to fill in...i am not sure...please explain..
This scaned pic is not cleand upp...what is the best way to do that?????...
"if you want, take the pic and clean it upp!!"

I think the best way to start up , is not to do A lot of shading on your pencil drawing as you did . then when you scann it you wont have to clean it up as much ..
Actually you dont even have to clean up if you use Dhabih's technique .. which is bringing the pic into Photoshop and then creating a new layer with a multiply filter , and either coloring it like that or you can even trace it like that then color you should really look at HIS tutorial .. I suck at explaining things .. |

Yes refer to the tutorial it has helped me allot. using the brightness/contrast to adjust I love it. But there is a way to sketch where little or no eraseing has to be done. Take a non-photo blue pencil and do your sketches then when you are comfortable go rith to thee Ink or even a dark pencil like 4-7 B to get the details. Then make a photo copy the better the copyer the better the results. And wha la you now have an image ready to scan Hope it works for you. |
