The 'new' wacom tablet Graphire has
half the resolution of the Intuous.
Pen has only 512 pressiure levels too.
But it also anly costs half of the Intuous A6.
Is this a dramatic negative for working
with photoshop? I'm sick of using my mouse
and just wanned to get a tablet for experimenting.
Witch one should I get  ?
Please tell me if you have used these boards
before.

| I just bought a Graphire this weekend. For the cost, it's works fine for me. I also liked the fact that it comes w/Painter Classic. The mouse sucks, however. It sorta drags like the mouse on a Mac. I've heard that the dragging is actually the cursor moving more "smoothly", but I can't stand it. |

I'm quite new here but if you read some "older" topics you see these kind of topics bothers the (die hard) members of this site...

I'll take a good advice and buy Graphire.
It's not really expensive after all.
So I might come here more offen I guess.

Just for future reference, use the Search tool if you have Wacom questions. The same questions get asked almost every other day. I personally may not scream at you for it, but some others find it particularly irritating. Just so you know.  |

i just got the graphire about a month ago and i like it. I just wish it would have come with the other stylus'.
