Hey this is a self portrait I did in photoshop. Its my second tablet pic. Im not done yet as you can see but i need some tips on the hair. I know there are tutorials and stuff but they don't seem to be suited to my hair style

Also how old du reckon I look in the pic?

Freddio, Looks good, but u have been a bit too aggressive on the dodge/burn tool, and this shows..lower the opacity of the tool if you are a bit trigger happy.

The lips are smart (hey dont get me wrong Im not gay or anything

) - look well drawn out and defined well.

The (our right) ear looks like its from another picture to be honest, needs to come in a bittowards the face

Other than that, the features are correct and it has some mad potential,

As far as the hair is concerned try the following.. new layer.. then paint (low opacity with a large brush) around the hair line and where the hair will be, - then use the dodge/brun tools to roughly shade it..then pick yourself a custom brush that say has dots of somet in (if you havent got them either make one or search for brushes there are plenty about) once u have your new brush, then set the opacity of the fingersmudge tool to about 90% and then drag evenly over the hair area, this will create a flowing look, then once completed that, add a few detail strands to it, and repeat untill it looks correct.

I think that was a subtle way of Acid asking you to draw yourself naked.

Anyway, yeah, it does seem tough to get feedback on the forum lately. It used to be that whenever you posted a pic, you'd get about 9 or 10 replies in the first day or two. Not so anymore... Oh well.
