guys n girls, im erm in need of some serious help here.. I need to take a crash course on 3D Max, (thanks all for the tuts) but half of them dont make sence as they still require you to have some knoweldge of max... and well tonight is the first night of using it for modeling somthing (or trying to at least) - and as you can appricate its a HUGH programm!. and all I ended up doing was looking puzzeled, swearing lots and getting frustrated.. so.. what I need firstly is a tut or "how to setup max and its prefrences" (as all the tuts I try and follow to a certain point are always diff angles that mine are etc (weird to explain) and then of course i'll need a complete "Zor is a IDIOT" guide to starting to model somthing..(a human prefreble)... big programs scare me!!)

So if there are any kind 3D Modellers out there that have some silly amounts of free time that cold wrap me up some info, then well I'll be there slave forever more

Now before u slag me, Yes I should of posted this along with the other.. and I Know that I should'nt really be posting this shit here n all.. but you all I got .. you all my family!! awwww

well ive been using the program for 4 or so years now. have you looked for any books? the ones that come with it are good.(guessing you didnt buy it). i could offer you more web pages, but im not sure if you want that. i did basicaly teach the program to people in my animation class back in highschool... kinda hard to help over the net. especialy here. tell ya what. ill give you my icq # (assuming you have icq) it is 54585649
