i just finished watching the sixth sense and it brought up some bad experiances i had a couple of years ago.
i used to live in carbondale colorado. one weekend a female friend and me decided to take a day trip to aspen. we were entertaining ourselfs by seeing how many rich people would could scare into giving us money, eventually the police tried to stop us...we ran like hell to my car and made a quick getaway.
i was scared they had their entire fleet of saab's trying to track us down, so on the way out of town i made a right onto this street called cemetary lane. i parked my car in some rich persons summer home and my friend and i walked down the street to this cemetary to hide out.
the cemetary was pretty cool, lots of interesting grave stones and shit. we took off on our own for a while just exploring, i had found this baby's grave at the foot of a tree. it was fucking me up, there was a dead rose wreath in the shape of a heart just chillin in this unmarked sunken in infant grave. at first i thought i was having an acid flashback, because i started seeing rose petals twist and fall in the air. it wasnt scary or anything, i was just totaly absorbed in it, i felt the ground shifting underneath me; i started getting the impression that this was more than some acid flashback...
the next thing i notice is my friend is shaking me and screaming in my face. she was crying and looked really pale. she starts to tell me she had been yellin at me for the past 20 minutes. i tried to calm her down as we leave but as we are walking i step on this snow covered grave, and all hell brakes loose. theres this loud crashing noise, and at exactly the same time all the graves in the cemetary sink further into the ground about half a foot. well my friend runs screaming back to the car falling over every other step...
on the way back home i pass out at the wheel and wake up on the side of the road with a brutal headache. besides my car, i was the only one hurt.

im not good at telling stories (sorry about that), but this shit creeped me out bad...im just wondering if anybody else has some creepy experiance they would like to share.

Sounds like a classic flashback to me...

The scariest thing that ever happened to me was when i went to highschool and saw my classmates for the first time. Holy fucking shit.

...except in this case two people experienced it, right? Odd flashback.

In any case, I posted a very recent creepy-ish experience in the shadow people thread. Not quite as dramatic as yours, Chaos, but a bit disturbing anyway.

Pff... there are plenty of precedents in which 2 or more people have the same kind of hallucination. It's often filed under mass hysteria.

Come to think of it... about 2 years ago i was on vacation at the coast with some friends and we were sitting in a large open spot in the woods at night, drinking and talking. Suddenly i heard this awful noise coming out of the woods. I cant really recreate it but it was something like "hiiiiiiiiiurrgghhhhhhhhhhhh". REALLY nasty. Anyway, i looked at a pal next to me, and he looked at me like "Fuck yeah i heard it too." but the other 2 didnt seem to have heard it. We continued talking, and after a minute or so the sound returned, only like 400 meters more to the right and MUCH closer. I looked at the guy and we started running like crazy. The other 2 were sitting there, wondering what the fuck we were doing, and came walking after us. Halfway the path back to the terrain, we gathered some courage and walked back, but when we arrived at the open spot again, the screaming sound returned, again much closer, and we ran until we were inside and had the door closed.

I've been to that place like 10.000 times, seriously. I grew up around there but i never heard it before, nor after the incident again. Weird.

It was some time around February that I was walking to my buss stop in this really shitty slush-rain. I was feeling very cold, wet and miserable trudging along, when all of a sudden I see this woman walking towards me.
I don't really know how to begin describing her... First of all I noticed how beautiful she was. Blonde, tall, 20ish and quite attractive. The weird thing was, she was walking like it was a sunny summer day. She didn't seem to even notice the rain and what's even spookier, the rain didn't seem to touch her or her clothes at all...
So, I'm staring (trying not to look obvious about it) at this woman, when she looks me straight in the eyes (which one does not do in Finland all that much) and gives me this peculiar Mona Lisa-type smile. We pass each other, and a few steps after we've gone by each other, I glance back. And she's doing exactly the same...
Well, I forgot about the slush and she's been haunting at the back of my mind ever since...
There was just something about her eyes, they were just so mesmerizing. And the way she was there on that road, in that weather; nobody could have looked more out of place. I felt happy that she just gave me a look, and that's all. *sigh*

Lame, I know, I know. But 'tis true. And you had to be there.

Artistic hallucinations, a sign of a good imagination (or mental disorders, the more the merrier). I had two beers and started having a weird eyes-open hallucination thing coming, seeing a girl I had last seen five years ago sitting right in front of me. *blink* and she was gone.

Not to mention the occasional deja-vu's, "I saw this crap in a dream two years ago! And I thought the very same thoughts." Gets on my nerves sometimes.

I once saw and angel with a burning sword. I also saw Godzilla on a toy horse (you know those ones that are a stick with a cloth horse's head?) walking thourgh trees near the horizon. That was nuts.

After that visit to the goth night at YO I don't think I have anything to worry about. I'm still a long way from that...

just a visit.. *shrug*

you weren't being dark and gloomy on the dance floor. we were. (lahtinen, x, me, sihvonen.)

but still, you're getting there. you look more goth than i ever have even been close to- style or mind wise. change while you still can, before the darkness devours your heart and the endless acid rain pours over for good....

Heikki, stay clear of the dark side, my friend. Be stronger than the forces of evil! use the force! use blonde hair-dye!

Sitting at comp. O0o im bored. Turns it off. Goes to bed. Tucks in. Closes eyes. DEMONS HEADS EVERYWHERE!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Couldn't sleep for awhile after that...
Now that was freaky. I might have been majorly depressed at the time or sumthing. But i dunno...

And sometimes when i wake up time is moving faster... i walk faster, everything sounds faster, i move my hand and it like swooshes past me when i try to move it.

When listening to nin's somewhat damage, that bass soundy thingie in the song is really fast sometimes, and sometimes it's not. Now how is that possible?!?

oooh just a lil more, i have this memory(dream, hallucination, artwork?) image of a dark female angel, with hands over her eyes to conciel(sp?) them and (seas of) blood running down from her eyes.

FaithInChaos:
You told it pretty good
too me it doesnt seem like 2 people experienced the hallucination(or whatever it was). with faith tottaly mesmerized for 20 mins and the girl just standing there screaming to him and he not responding, who wouldnt freak out? and after he starts responding she of course wants to get them to get outta there. cause standing in a graveyard with your friend doing nothing for 20 mins must be majorly scary.

so she dumped you outta the car? or did it crash?

hehe...no she didnt kick me out of the car. i passed out at the wheel and crashed it. im not totaly sure if it was all in my head or if there was some supernatural things at work; ive tried to get my friend to talk about the experiance in the graveyard, but she just gets really tightliped and pissed off when ever i try and push the issue. oh well it was still creepy though.

i know what you are talking about sometimes when i get sick i wake up at night and everything is moving really fast especially my heartbeat...it feels like you are stuck in warp overdrive and sounds are very loud and distorted.

I remember hearing this story from my little sister. She said that a friend of hers from church knew someone from school that a while back had used a Ouija board and ever since then everytime they closed there eyes they saw this demon.

Her friend told her that the kid was the most frightened kid she had ever seen.

I believe it to because the movie "Exorcist"
is based on a true story about a boy that got possesed though a Ouija board.

Pretty freaky

i've always thought that supposedly true stories were always the scariest.

Yeah, urban legends are quite fascinating, from a personal and a sociopsychologiccal standpoint.
*OFF TOPIC WARNING*
Saw a movie yesterday that's based on an urban legend. Japanese horror movie called "Ring". Great movie, still wigging me out.
The basic concept was about a video. Once you watched this really odd video, you would receive a phone call in which you were told that you would die in exactly one week...
Won't say anything else, 'cept that it was a really good movie, and I recommend it...

hmmmm creepy im good at creepy, ive had a creepy life...

When i was about hmmm id say 17, i was sleeping on my couch and around 3 am woke up to find my mother sitting in the living room, drinking her usual coke with ice and smoking like a chimney, so I lit up a smoke and started talking with her about my life, and that she was worried i was sick, or pregnant or something, we talked until 4-5 am, and i went back to sleep to wake up instantly *you know the sleep where you close your eyes, open them its an hour later?* and my mouth of course taste like ciggerettes.

now what makes this creey is ofcourse, i quit smoking when i was 17 before this happened, and my mother died when i was 15 of cancer. hmmmm creepy? or just a mental VERY realistic dream.... still creepy none the less.
